Welcome to mezzo-soprano Francine Vis
A freelance opera singer with a broad range of repertoire. Francine is known for her flexible and warm voice, musicality and intense stage presence. Apart from opera she sings oratorium, lieder and concert repertoire. Francine has won the Händel Award and the Diorapthe Award for the best performance of a new composition at the International Vocal Competition in ‘s-Hertogenbosch IVC in 2014. With pianist Christian Westergaard she won the 1st prize at the Copenhagen Lied-Duo Competition 2015.
Recently she was shining as Angelina (La Cenerentola) at Opera Hedeland (DK) and currently she performs the world première of Det Långa Seklet (The long century) by Andrea Tarrodi and Helena Röhr in Malmö (SE).
